It's hard to believe, but our spare bedroom turned library is full to overflowing and we need more shelves and such to house our growing collection of books.
We are fortunate to have a large dining room with windows wrapping around two walls and lots of wall space. The kids are grown and that once treasured gathering spot is now just a pitstop for bike stuff, packing materials, and other junk. So we decided that next week when my husband takes some vacation time we are going to make the HUGE move. The current library will be the new shipping/gift wrap/craft room and the dining room will be the new library.
I can't wait to take pictures when it's done!

I hear you! I definitely have several rooms that are rapidly being overcome by books (not to mention that several hundred of my books live in my office). I've been thinking about doind an upcoming post on how ridiculous the term "TBR pile" is for so many of us. Really, anyone who's inclined to use the term TBR pile likely has a TBR room. At least.
Geez. Thats going to be a big project. It will look nice when your done though and you will have a lot more space. I cant wait to see it when its finished. Oh and its raining right now. :D

I had to use the garage once the shelves in the house all had two layers on them. It's better than nothing but the thought of an extra room with all that light makes me really envious.
